Galentine game: What’s in your purse?

Today we’ve got a game for Valentines Day and beyond for all of you out there that what to play What’s in your Purse with your Galentines, from mum’s, moms, and trans women, to anyone that carries a handbag, or a bag and frankly, know that’s it is FULL of clutter. But just how much – and do you win the Galentine Game?

We love a game of What’s in the Bag – so much so we have already made a printable version you can download. This is a lovely twist on an old favourite.

And you get to compete with each other too, to find out who’s got the worst purse *raises hand.*

What is the Galentine Game?

Print out the sheet below (scroll down to the button), and then you can play with your friends.

But how do you play?

It is really simple to get it right:

1. Print out the Galentine Game,
2. Take your purse and empty it!
3. Look through everything there, and tick the items as they appear on the Galentine Game printable
4. Once you have gone through everything, tot up your score by counting the ticks in each section, and multiplying by the points score for the items within that section,
5. Add up your totals, and find out who has got the most points!

If your handbag is anything like mine, there are likely to be some items that aren’t even on the list.

If that happens, you might want to add to the fun, by giving people an extra 25 points for things that aren’t included within the list. Alternatively – think of your own score for the items found, collectively!

Extra points if you’ve got anything alive in your handbag/purse 😂

Variation on the Galentines Game for kids

if you are playing this with the kids, then you can add a bit of memory game fun to it too, just to make it that little bit more exciting.

You can use the sheet as a checklist for what IS in your purse, and then take just ONE THING away, and see if the kids can tell you what it is that you have removed from your purse.

This is a really simple variation on the game, and it can be played anywhere, so it wonderful for your pit stops when you are travelling.
