5 reasons a Flexispot corner gaming desk is the ultimate gaming throne for your teen!

This is a great little article on the amazing E3L corner desk, and the reasons why you might want to consider a corner desk as a gaming desk. We were recently gifted this as a corner gaming desk for the teen boy. We weren’t sure that this would work because it isn’t actually officially a gaming desk. However, we have been pleasantly surprised at how effective it has been. We are sharing with you the five reasons today why a corner desk works well for us, and could for you too.

There is also a sale on the site to celebrate Flexispot’s 7th anniversary at the moment, so pop on over and check it out now! We’ve also got a live giveaway running with them as well.

After a few weeks of using the desk to game – here are our key reasons why this desk works so well for teen, and beyond gamers.

1. Space, space, and more space

Let’s face it, gaming gear is like potato chips – you can’t have just one. The E3L Corner Adjustable Desk offers ample room to spread out your teen’s gaming kingdom. From multiple monitors to gaming keyboards, there’s space for everything. It’s like the wild west of desks, but instead of tumbleweeds, it’s overflowing with joysticks 😂.

In addition to the desk top size, there are options to buy a pedestal, and an under-desk drawer with the desk. Both perfect for additional storage both for gaming, and also if your teen wants to work at the desk as well.

Finally, as its a corner desk it is a wonderful space saver. If you have a smaller room, it is easier to find the corners become wasted space. Getting a corner desk, and using it as a gaming haven, helps solve that problem 😊.

2. Adjustability is not just a fancy word

Growing teens are like beanstalks, they sprout up overnight; at least that’s what seemed to happen with our teen anyway 😊

Thankfully, the E3L desk can keep up. With its adjustable height feature, this desk matches your teen’s growth spurts stride for stride. No more hunching over or craning their neck during intense gaming sessions!

3. Sturdy as a knight in shining armour

No one wants their gaming session interrupted by a wobbly table, right? The E3L desk stands strong and steady, keeping all the precious gaming equipment safe. It’s like having a personal knight protecting your teen’s beloved gaming castle.

4. Cable management for the win

If your teen’s gaming setup looks like a spaghetti junction of wires, fret not. The E3L desk comes with a built-in cable management system. So, not only does it tame the wild wire beast, it also makes the gaming station look neat and tidy. Who knew gaming could teach organisational skills?

Not only is there cable management with the desk, it is also possible to add additional items to it too, including casters to help make it easier to move, and also a desk monitor mount.

5. Looks cooler than a polar bear in sunglasses

The sleek design of the E3L desk screams ‘cool’ louder than a crowd at a rock concert. This isn’t just a desk; it’s a statement piece that will make your teen’s friends green with envy. It’s the perfect place to write essays and study for exams as well, alongside the gaming. There is additional storage space that can be purchased for books, and papers, that will help keep their room looking neat and organised. We love the unique style and superior craftsmanship of this desk, making it a great choice for any teen who wants to make an impression in their bedroom. And what teenage boy doesn’t want to do that?

In a nutshell, the E3L Corner Adjustable Desk is more than just a piece of furniture. It’s a game-changer (pun intended) that will elevate your teen’s gaming experience to new heights. So, let the games begin.

The teen was even able to make it himself, though it is definitely worth allowing extra time for the build because it is quite hard for one person to do. He was determined though, and managed it all on his own.

The desk costs £449.99, so it is on the higher end of the market, but it is important to make sure that gaming equipment is strong, sturdy and will stand the test of time. We are pretty sure that this desk will do all of those things based on the experiences we have had with it over the last month.

It may help emotional dysregulation and room makeovers (!)…. *no promises though*

Sometimes, with those with neurodivergence (ND) desks need to be able to take the occasional frustrated moment. It is more likely that this one will take the potential abuse from a frustrated, ADHD teen than one of the cheaper models from other office or home companies *no names mentioned of course*.

If you are having to deal with the odd angry kick, you are going to need sturdy, strong, metal, not dowel, glue and wooden construction in the desk’s legs! 😂

Parents of those with neurodivergence will also know that their kids tend to decide they *need to change up their room* as its getting boring. Getting casters for the desk, which we did, means that when this inevitably happens, parents are less likely to find that things have broken or moved in a flat-pack build because they were dragged across the floor.

This will sounds strange to all but those with ND kids – but believe me, this is a thing 😂.
