On the 8th day of Christmas ….. 8 maids a milking

8 maids a milking … we are now three quarters of the way through our colouring advent and today we have for you eight maids a milking all lined up and ready for a splash of colour.

There are a variety of animals that can be milked; cows, goats and sheep are the ones that immediately spring to mind. However, I have never given any of them a try. Have you?

Does your local farm have an open day where you can try it out? Why not bear that in mind as an activity to try out when you are looking for something different to do?

In the meantime, get your kids into the spirit of things, with this lovely colouring page, courtesy of our 12 Days of Xmas series…have you checked out all the other ones yet? Don’t dilly dally, and take a look-see. Do you remember what is next in the rhyme for tomorrow…I hope so, as we should be on for a great boogie woogie with the next colouring extravaganza!
