Everything that you need to know about property for your family but were afraid to ask…. #MoneyHangout

We are taking part in an amazing hangout this week on property and what YOU need to know about it when you have a family; from getting a mortgage to helping your kids got on the property ladder. Come join us on Wednesday at 8pm, or watch the recording afterwards. You'll learn a thing or two to help the kids I promise.

Do you feel that you don’t know enough about getting your foot on the property ladder? Have you been renting, but really want the stability owning your own house can bring for you and your kids? Are you not sure who to even ask to get help with these kinds of questions?

<< Then we can help you! >>

We are going to be taking part in a Hangout with Legal and General on Wednesday 3rd June, at 8pm which will answer just these kinds of questions. It is part of the #MoneyHangouts series from the company, which are all designed to give you  better idea of how you can make your money work for you.

Come back to the blog at 8pm on Wednesday 3rd June, and you can even watch the Property – Your Options Explained hangout here, live in this post:

My word, isn’t the internet a rather clever place!

Personally, we have already got a mortgage, but we are interested in understanding how we can support our kids with their future property needs. Though they are only 8 and 9 years old, we are acutely aware that one can’t predict what property needs will be when they reach the age that they will need a home of their own. We would really like to know how we can be planning to support them when this time comes – what can we do to generate a good income for them from the Bank of Mum and Dad?

The experts answering this, and other questions, will be:

  • Miles Shipside (Commercial Director of property search website Rightmove),
  • Roger Harding (Director of Policy and Campaigns at housing and homeless charity Shelter), and
  • Jo Eccles (Founder of Central-London property finder Sourcing Property and a columnist for the Metro newspaper).

I am sure we will get some really inciteful and helpful advice; these guys will know what they are talking about :-D.

So why not join us, and post a question in the hangout, as well as listen so you can really prepare yourself and your family for their future property needs. I look forward to seeing you in there!
