Pear lifecycle activities for STEM plant learning play for your kids today

Learning about where our food comes from is an important subject to teach kids. The joy of learning how one of our favorite fruits arrives at our home is a fun experience. Discussing the process of a seed turning into a tree and then harvesting pears may seem like a magic trick to your youngster. To help make it fun – we’ve put together a few activities around the pear lifecycle for you all.

Educating children about how we are able to enjoy food from the ground to our table is the perfect way to help kids make better food choices. Not only does learning about the pear lifecycle encourage a child to eat more pears, but it helps them see how we must treat our Earth with better care so that fruit can flourish.

Today at KiddyCharts we’re sharing a pear lifecycle printable to help you obtain a visual chart to educate your children about where pears come from.

It’s important to find unique ways to teach children about the various lifecycles in our world. From pears to ladybugs and even frogs, it is important that children learn how our world works. This helps them put the pieces together about life, food and our place on Earth as human beings.

When it comes to educating a child about the pear lifecycle, you may not be able to plant your own pear tree to give them a real-life experience. That’s where this pear lifecycle printable comes into play. You can easily sit down to help your child cut out each part of the pear lifecycle printable and place it on a poster board.

Making this worksheet fun is easy; simply cut out the pear lifecycle pieces of the printable after downloading it by clicking the square image below. Give your child a piece of poster board and glue to see what order they think that the pear lifecycle goes in. This is great practice to see if your child is able to place the pear lifecycle in the appropriate order.

Once your child is done, now it’s time to discuss the pear lifecycle with your child. If your child put something out of order, ask them questions to see if they can’t figure out why that particular order wouldn’t make sense.

You see, you can easily use the pear lifecycle printable as a means to work on comprehension skills, as well as the lifecycle of this delicious fruit, the pear.

There are several activities in the bundle your little ones can enjoy while they are learning about the pear life cycle. Here is a list for you to check out before downloading:
