The importance of matching and sorting colours is crucial for kids. It helps develop their fine motor skills, concentration, and coordination. And of course, it is a great way to help their colour recognition.
So, what’s in the colour sorting activity? Here’s a quick summary of what you’ll be getting.
Colours sorting activity: Rainbow game
This page is the main page of this lovely printable, and where this activity truly comes to life. Print out this page multiple times so your kids can stick the corresponding colour images on here when they are doing their colour sorting.
Another idea is to laminate the sheet so your kids can reuse it? This works great in the classroom or for home learning activities, too.
We have 4 pages to share with you and each one of them comes with a corresponding colour. Each image on each page will not only help your kids recognise colours, but they’ll start becoming familiar with the objects too, thus increasing their vocabulary and learning words they may not have known.
Colours sorting activity: red
