Parent Blogging All Stars #9: Boo Roo and Tigger Too

Boo RooWe have another lovely Parent Blogging All Star to find out about this week, the absolutely lovely Sarah from Boo Roo and Tigger Too.  Let’s find out a bit more about her!

Your Name:

Sarah Anguish

Blog Name:

Boo Roo and Tigger Too

What are the sexes and ages of your children?:

A little girl, 6yrs and a little boy, 2yrs

What got you into parent blogging?:

I read so many blogs whilst on maternity leave with my son, many of which were about being a SaHM.  As I was due to return to work I thought I’d write a blog about juggling parenthood with work too.

What is your top parenting tip to share with our readers? Can be on any topic for little ones :-) (under 8s):

Organisation is the key to being able to leave the home anywhere close to the time you need to leave. For example, with babies if you have been already been out once home replenish your changing bag with nappies, wipes, clothes etc. so you can simply grab and go next time you need it.  With toddlers and pre-schoolers I suggest leaving a bag or a small stoage box in the boot of your car will some essentials i.e. nappies, wipes, underwear, clothes, a towel and a few carry bags … you never know when you might need it.

Can you share a parenting advice post with us from your blog too; your favourite one? Why do you like this post? Please include the link for us.:

Showcasing the perils of juggling childcare whilst working, I’d advise any parent returning to work to make sure that there is a plan B for when it all goes wrong.

Who’s your favourite parent blogger at the moment and why? Please include a link to their blog home page:

Despite her life being turned upside down by the eldest child’s leukemia diagnosis she manages to make the best out of every day for both her girls.

Helen is a mum to two, social media consultant, and website editor; and this site is (we think) the only Social Enterprise parenting magazine!Since giving up being a business analyst when juggling travel, work and kids proved too complicated, she founded KiddyCharts so she could be with her kids, and use those grey cells at the same time.KiddyCharts has reach of over 1.1million across social and the site. The blog works with big family brands (including travel) to help promote their services, as well as offering free resources to parents of kids under 10.It gives 51%+ profits to Reverence for Life, who fund a number of important initiatives in Africa, including bringing running water and basic equipment to a school in Tanzania.Helen has worked as a digital marketing consultant (IDM qualified) with various organisations, including Channel Mum, Truprint, Talk to Mums, and Micro Scooters. She loves to be creative in the brand campaigns she works on.Get in touch TODAY!
