This week, on May 6th, there is a new Robinson Crusoe film in town. But this telling of the story is completely different from anything you have heard about the original tale…
This film is seen through the eyes of an adventure-loving, but rather mischievous and outgoing parrot, called Tuesday. One day, after a violent storm, the animals on the island Tuesday calls home, wake up to find a strange new inhabitant in their land: Robinson Crusoe. Tuesday soon realises that this new creature might just be able to help him realise his dream of going out into the world.
It isn’t too long before Robinson Crusoe works out that he needs the help of Tuesday and the other animals on the island to survive. When the island is then threatened by two savage cats, everyone needs to work together to protect each other.
In order to celebrate the film release on the 6th May, and its adventurous spirit, we have a great activity and DvD bundle to give away to one lucky reader on the site. If you win, you will have some great resources for you to swing into a fun activity adventure including:
- 1 colouring book,
- 1 set of masks,
- 1 sticker book, and
- A bundle of DvDs (House of Magic , Paddington and Shawn the Sheep).
Entry into the competition is by our usual Gleam widget below; so just fill this out and you are in with a chance of winning the bundle. Follow the #RobinsonCrusoe hashtag on Twitter too – so you can see all the fun unfold.
