Britmums Blog Prompt: The Kiss Goodnight

I have never done a Britmums Blog Prompt before, so I hope that I have done this right.

The prompt was to talk about our favourite time of day.

There has never been any doubt about mine.

I make sure it happens every night, at the very least with Chatterbox.

Its when I go into my children and watch them sleeping soundly and kiss them night night.

Its when they are silent, and still and we both love them very much.

Believe it or not; Chatterbox is alseep!
Believe it or not; Chatterbox is alseep! Wish I was that bendy…

Typically, Stuntboy wakes up and ruins it…

….but that’s just him – can’t stay asleep when someone comes in….

…they might be about to do something interesting!

Thanks for Britmums for this blog prompt – what’s your favourite time of day – do tell me below?

Yep, that has to be one of mine too, though I also love story time, as we snuggle on my bed, princess on one side, monster on the other and read the same two stories every night (or perhaps it just feels like that) I always associate the smell of freshly washed hair (with baby shapmoo) with that lovely time of the evening.

Story-time came a close second for me too - we have loads of stories each night...not sure whether thats for them or me sometimes! And as for the same story - see my blog post tomorrow for my thought on that one!

This is mine too, desperate to put them to bed most the day - then spot them sleeping all perfect and cosy and want to wake them up with kisses and cuddles!
