Our father acrostic poem

First of all, let’s just make sure we all know what an Acrostic poem is!

What is an acrostic poem?

Acrostic poems are rhymes written starting with the first letter of a specific word. Each line within the poem starts with a letter, and putting all the lines together spells a word.

In our case, because this is a father acrostic poem, the word we are spelling it FATHER. But you can have any word or theme for an acrostic poem.

This poem is copyright to KiddyCharts, so please do not use it without our permission. You can contact us to ask for permission of course, and we will reply within 48 hours.

For being there when I need you,
And making me smile when I cry,
The steadfast belief I can succeed,
Has come from you helping me try,
Everytime I need a hug, or help to get through the days,
Reaching out for me is your hand and heart, loving me ALWAYS.

Cute, perhaps slightly cheesy, but we will leave that one up to you of course!

What does our Father’s poem printable look like
