Dads truly are awesome. It really does not matter what type of parenting families choose, there is usually a special bond between father and their kid, just as there is a strong bond between a mother and her child. We all have topics that seem best discussed with our Dads.

This little poem was inspired by my own family, and it celebrates all the awesome dads out there; ones that are there when their kids need them the most, the Dads that dry the tears away, and know just what words to say. The funny Dads that always tell the best jokes, and then the serious ones. Then there are those Fathers that give the best piggyback rides, and you just know they will never let you fall…

All in all, this poem is for each and every amazing father, or step dad out there that loves their child more than anything in the world.
