How to make the Frankenstein toilet roll craft

We like to make sure we give you the complete step by step instructions for our crafts, including pictures, so here goes:

  1. Print out the PDF templates (download this by scrolling down to the button below these details) and cut out the pieces using craft paper to make the tissue paper roll Frankenstein.

2. Glue the Frankenstein’s hair on top of the head. See it is already taking shape and starting to look like the iconic Frankenstein. Amazing what you can do with a little bit of hair!

3. Then, glue the Frankenstein’s ears on the sides of the head. Cute, right?

4. Glue the bolts beneath the ears. Bolts are the iconic part of this monster of course; from Mary Shelley’s creation to our favourites the Munsters and The Addams Family – without the bolts, we wouldn’t know what we were making / seeing…

5. Glue the eyes on the top part of the head. Orange of course – a colour that we KNOW is associated with Halloween fun.

6. Draw the mouth using marker pens and also some freckles. Freckles, we know monsters don’t usually have freckles. But this is a cute monster, so they are almost required 😉

7. Now we need to start making the body for our Frankenstein craft. And, of course, it is made from the toilet roll to keep it simple, and accessible to everyone. Glue the brown craft paper on the bottom part of the tissue paper roll.

8. Then glue the Frankenstein’s shirt on top. We have a purple shirt for our cute monster, but you would use a different colour. You might even want to make a few with different shirts if you are decorating the house with them.

9. Glue the Frankenstein’s head on top of the tissue paper roll. Done! Isn’t he looking amazing? Cute, and fun all in a little purple package 😂

As always – to download the template for this, you just need to click on the button below and it is yours:

And you are done! You should have your cute Frankenstein craft now, ready to decorate the house with!

We’ve also got a card for you to print out with all the instructions for this make, so take a look at this here as well:
