This is a really simple idea. We’ve got the dates for the year alongside a black space for the kids to design their own calendar for every month of the year. It is up to them what they include within that month. Some ideas might be:

  • January: Winter scene
  • February: Valentines
  • March: Spring flowers
  • April: Easter or April’s Fool
  • May: May day fun
  • June: Summer is here
  • July: Schools out
  • August: Beach time
  • September: Autumn leaves
  • October: Halloween
  • November: Bonfire night / Nature fun
  • December: Christmas

These are just prompt ideas for the kids to use to help them get creative. However, it is their space, so their ideas.

Above are the sheets for January 2022, February 2022, and March 2022, so you can see how the calendar looks and is put together.

There is enough space on each sheet for kids to design and draw their own picture, and colour it in. Above are the April 2022, May 2022 and June 2022 pictures for you.

We have shared the images for you in threes, so you can see what you are getting when you click on the button below. Above are July 2022, August 2022 and September 2022.

Finally, we have the last three months of the year to share: October 2022, November 2022 and December 2022. The amount of space for the picture does depend on the month, and how it fits on to the page. Designs for the background are the same throughout though.

We do hope you like this idea, and that you join our free premium site and download the calendar for £3.95, plus any of the other freebies that we have on the shop site for our free members. Most of the site is free after joining.
